Some would say Jack has wine in his blood. His family has deep-rooted ties to the world of wine. In the late 1960s, his uncle Tony founded the Bouverie vineyard and Plantagenet winery in Western Australia. His grandfather and later his parents had their heads in the retail game, with his parents running food stores in Paris, where Jack was born.

His grandparents lived in Umbria in Central Italy, and some of Jack’s earliest wine memories include joining his grandfather on visits to local winemakers in Montefalco. They would buy huge 50-litre demijohns of wine before heading back to their house in the hills to bottle it. Jack’s passion for wine stayed with him later in life, as he recalls his favourite wine memories of touring the wineries of the Russian River Valley and Napa for a milestone birthday.

These days, Jack prefers to reach for lighter, lower alcohol reds and Italian reds. He also loves English and Northern European whites, and enjoys dry crisp and minerally varieties. He likes a chardonnay once in a while and leans towards Austrian and German Rieslings

Hannah was lucky enough to get married on a beautiful wine estate, which is why her favourite wine destination is Stellenbosch. She has enjoyed some fantastic wine and made wonderful memories in this incredible region. She is currently drinking Della Vite Prosecco, which is her favourite for a girls’ night in or a special gift.

Hannah is passionate about recognising loyalty. She wants you to know that The Wine Flyer is the most rewarding place to purchase the wines you love. When it comes to food pairing, Hannah loves big grazing tables full of different tastes and textures that allow you to change up what you're drinking throughout the dining experience.

Alex enjoys a Malbec that is fresh and fruity, which is why he is currently drinking Susana Balbo Crios, and his all-time favourite wine is Marques de Riscal XR. His favourite wine destination is Chianti, Tuscany, a picturesque region of central Italy famed for its savoury reds.

Alex is passionate about making sure you get a great wine delivered to your home safely and quickly. He also appreciates that good wine should be paired with good food. So, when it comes to his favourite wine pairing, what does he choose? Italian antipasti all the way!

When it comes to wine, Jon is partial to New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, but his go-to drink at present is a smooth Primátor Premium Pilsner Lager.

Jon has family in Spain and loves to visit the beautiful Mediterranean coast, his favourite wine destination. On his way, he likes to savour a glass of wine on his BA flight, and when he arrives you’ll catch him enjoying the fantastic seafood Spain has to offer, which is by far his favourite partner for wine pairing. Jon is passionate about all things tech and making sure you have an easy, consistent and reliable service when shopping online.

Becky is a fan of rosé and is currently drinking Whispering Angel. Her friend introduced her to the delicious wine from the award-winning Château d'Esclans and it's fast become a firm favourite! She’s equally taken by sparkling wine, with Bottega Rose Gold Spumante a standout.

Her favourite wine destination is Tuscany, with Veneto in north-eastern Italy next on her travel wishlist. Becky is passionate about providing an amazing selection and service for you. Outside of work, she can usually be found enjoying a glass of wine with friends and great Italian food, whether it's a flavour-packed pasta dish or a rich, creamy risotto.
