The following terms and conditions (the “Terms”) shall exclusively apply to the The Wine Flyer Win a Holiday to Sicily Prize Draw (the “Promotion”) for the duration of the Promotional Period, unless otherwise specified in the Promotion marketing. 

This Promotion is jointly provided by: 

IAG Loyalty Retail Limited, trading as The Wine Flyer (company registered number 13984706) a company incorporated in England and Wales and whose registered office is at Waterside, Speedbird Way, Harmondsworth, United Kingdom UB7 0GB (the “Promoter” or “The Wine Flyer”); and 

The Wine People S.r.l. (“TWP”) (VAT number 02097760223) a company incorporated in Italy whose registered office is at Via Maestri del Lavoro 28, 38121 Trento, Italy 

To be eligible for this Promotion: customers must be: 

at least 18 years old;  

a member of The British Airways Club (“BAC”), or open a BAC account before the Avios element of the Prize is credited, and accept the BAC Terms and Conditions. resident in Great Britain (England, Scotland or Wales). 

The promotion opens at 11:00 on 6 October 2026 and closes at 10:59 on 20 October 2026, UK Time (the “Promotional Period”). The Qualifying Purchase must be completed (order placed and paid) within the Promotional Period. 

To participate in this Promotion, Eligible Participants must confirm and accept these Terms as well as:

TWP’s Terms of Use available at https://www.twpwines.com/en/legal/terms_of_use 

In order to verify the eligibility for the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to require the Eligible Participants to provide it with proof of age and identity. 

The Promotion excludes employees and agents of the Promoter, AGL, British Airways PLC, TWP or any company connected with the production or distribution of this Promotion, as well as their relatives or members of their family or household. 

To enter, during the Promotional Period, buy either the Italian Escape Mixed Collection or the Italian Red Collection at https://thewineflyer.co.uk (a “Qualifying Purchase”). 

Eligible Participants who make a Qualifying Purchase are entered automatically; entry is free and no payment beyond the normal price of the product is required. 

You may enter once only during the Promotional Period, regardless of the number of Qualifying Purchases made. No entries from agents, third parties or organised groups, and no bulk entries will be accepted. 

If a Qualifying Purchase is cancelled or refunded before the Prize is released, including under the cancellation rights in The Wine Flyer Terms and Conditions, the entry is void and the Prize may be withdrawn or awarded to a reserve winner. The Promoter will check this before the Prize is released. 

Only one (1) Prize will be available to win, for the winner and one (1) travel companion, made up of the Avios element and the holiday element described below: 

The holiday element, is a two (2) night stay in Sicily, made up of: 

two (2) nights’ hotel accommodation in a minimum 3-star hotel selected by TWP, including breakfast and dinner;  

hire of a small, economical rental car for the duration of the stay; and 

a visit and tasting at the Santa Tresa winery, Vittoria, Sicily, provided by TWP (see clause 2) (further conditions at clause 13 to 28). 

The Avios element, provided by the Promoter, is 80,000 Avios credited to the winner’s BAC account, intended to cover return Economy Reward Flights for two (2) people from London to Sicily, booked by the winner (further conditions at clause 29 to 31). 

Transfers to and from the London departure airport are not included.  

Airport Parking is not included. 

Travel insurance is not included. The winner and any travel companion are responsible for arranging and paying for their own comprehensive travel insurance, including cover for medical expenses, repatriation, trip cancellation, and lost or damaged belongings. The Promoter recommends obtaining suitable travel insurance and accepts no liability for any losses arising from a failure to do so.  

If the winner or any travel companion is unable to travel on medical grounds, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion and subject to TWP’s availability, offer a reasonable alternative travel date within the redemption period, but shall be under no obligation to do so. The Promoter shall not be liable for any deterioration in the health of the winner or any travel companion before or during the trip. 

The winner and any travel companion must be medically fit to travel, and remain so at the date of travel. None of the Promoter, AGL or TWP accepts any liability where a winner or travel companion is unable to travel, for health or fitness reasons, and no cash or cash alternative will be offered in those circumstances, save as stated in clause 16.  

The winner must accept the Prize as set out in clause 12 and agree suitable travel dates with TWP by 31 January 2027, and travel must be completed by 30 June 2027 (the “redemption period”).  

The holiday element is subject to availability. The winner must agree suitable travel dates with TWP, which will coordinate the winery visit and and avoid dates on which the winery is unavailable due to other commitments or events. All travel dates must fall within the redemption period and are subject to confirmation by TWP, who is not obliged to make any particular date available. 

The holiday element must be redeemed with travel completed as stated in clause 18, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter. 

No optional flight, board, accommodation or car hire supplements are included in the Prize. Lunches, drinks other than the winery tasting, spending money, fuel, tolls, the car hire security deposit, and anything not listed in clause 11 are the winner’s responsibility. 

The Prize includes travel for the winner and one (1) travel companion. Any travel companion must be aged 18 or over at the date of travel. The winner is responsible for ensuring that any travel companion complies with all applicable travel documentation requirements and these terms. 

It is the sole responsibility of the winner and any travel companion to hold a valid passport meeting the entry requirements for Italy and to obtain any visas, entry permits, or other travel documentation required for the destination. The Promoter shall not be liable for any costs, losses, or expenses incurred as a result of the winner's or any travel companion's failure to comply with applicable passport, visa, or immigration requirements. If the winner is unable to travel due to failure to obtain the required travel documentation, the Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter shall have no further obligation to the winner. No local hotel or tourist taxes, fees or service charges are included in the Prize.  

The rental car is booked and paid for by TWP, which selects the car hire company based on availability, and is provided under the car hire company’s rental terms and conditions which the winner must accept on collection. The car is collected and returned at Catania airport, at times agreed with TWP, for the duration of the holiday element. If the winner arrives at or departs from another airport, or travels before or after the holiday element, travel to and from Catania airport and any additional hire days are at the winner’s cost.  

The hire covers one named driver, who must age 25 or over and hold a full valid driving license that is valid for driving in Italy. TWP arranges and pays for insurance for the hire, with no excess payable by the winner, and mileage is unlimited. A security deposit, the amount of which is set by the car hire company, must be provided when the car is collected on a payment card in the driver’s name that the car hire company accepts for that purpose, with car hire companies commonly require a credit card and may not accept debit or prepaid cards. The deposit is released by the car hire company after the car is returned in accordance with the car hire company’s rental terms and conditions. TWP will confirm to the winner, before the car is booked, the deposit amount and the card types the car hire company accepts. The car is supplied with fuel and must be returned with the same amount, so the winner pays for the fuel used. TWP will book the car hire on terms no more onerous than those stated in this clause whichever car hire company it uses.  

If neither the winner nor the travel companion meets these requirements, or the winner is unable to unable or unwilling to provide the security deposit as stated in clause 25, the car hire element falls away, no cash alternative or substitute is offered, and any other transport is at the winner’s cost. The winner and any travel companion must comply with local laws, including those on drinking and driving.   

The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternative, whether in whole or in part. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or any element of it) with a prize of equal or greater value if the original Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, including but not limited to cancellation of accommodation, car hire, winery visit, travel advisories, or the insolvency of a third-party supplier. The Promoter will use reasonable efforts to offer a substitute of comparable nature and quality. 

If the Prize is not accepted, or travel dates are not agreed with TWP as stated by the applicable date as stated in clause 18, the holiday element will be deemed forfeited. The holiday element is subject to these Terms, TWP’s Terms of Use and the car hire provider’s Rental Terms and Conditions. 

The 80,000 Avios will be credited to the winner's BAC account within thirty (30) days of the winner's acceptance of the Prize, once the Promoter has confirmed under clause 11 that the Qualifying Purchase has not been cancelled or refunded. 

The winner must hold a BAC account in their own name, or open one, within fourteen (14) days of accepting the Prize. Avios cannot be credited until the account is open, and if no account is opened within that period the Promoter may treat the Avios element as forfeited.  

The Avios element is awarded as Avios, not as flights. The winner is responsible for booking any flights using their Avios in accordance with the BAC’s Terms and Conditions and the AGL’s Terms and Conditions. Reward flights are subject to availability, and the taxes, fees and charges payable on any reward booking, and any change or cancellation fees, are payable by the winner. The Promoter will not top up the Avios element if the flights the winner chooses require more than 80,000 Avios, and any Avios not used remain in the winner's BAC account subject to the BAC’s Terms and Conditions.  

The winner will be chosen from all valid entries at random by a computer process on or before 4 November 2026. The Promoter will retain evidence of the selection. 

The winner will be notified by email to the email address used for the Qualifying Purchase by 11 November 2026 and must confirm acceptance of the Prize within seven (7) days of the notification. Eligible Participants must therefore ensure the contact details held by The Wine Flyer are valid. If the winner cannot be reached after two separate attempts, or declines, or does not accept within that period, the Prize may be forfeited, and a back-up winner will be chosen and notified via the same method. The notification will set out the conditions of the holiday element, including the driving requirements in clause 24-26, so that the winner can confirm before accepting that they can use it. Once the winner has accepted, the Promoter will introduce the winner to TWP to arrange the holiday element. 

Where the promotion is promoted via social media (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok), it is in no way affiliated with such platforms. 

The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted or not received due to technical or network failure beyond its reasonable control.  

The Prize is as stated. The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be redeemed for cash. The Prize, once provided to the winner, is the responsibility of the winner and if lost or damaged or if the winner fails to use the Prize in time, will not be replaced by the Promoter. If the Prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. 

Winners may be asked to take part in reasonable post-event publicity without payment. You may opt-out of publicity. By entering this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and any other requirements in related promotional materials. 

The surname and county of the Prize winner will be available on request by writing to the Promoter at the address set out in clause 2, for a period of three (3) months following the end of the Promotional Period. Eligible Participants may object to such publication, or request that it be limited, by contact the Promoter before the end of the Promotional Period. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) upon reasonable request. 

The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw this Promotion or amend these Terms without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without any liability to Eligible Participants for doing so. 

The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual, and to withhold or reclaim any Prize or Avios awarded to any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry or award process or the operation of the Promotion, or to be acting in breach of these Terms. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Promoter reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. 

Avios are issued by Avios Group (AGL) Limited and are subject to the Avios Terms and Conditions. Avios have no monetary value, are non‑transferable, and cannot be refunded nor exchanged. Any personal information you supply will be used for the purpose of administering this Promotion by the Promoter in accordance with its Privacy Policy, AGL’s Privacy Policy, BAC’s Privacy Policy and TWP’s Privacy Policy. The winner’s name, email address and the details needed to arrange the holiday element will be shared with TWP for that purpose only. 

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision or part thereof. In the event that any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions, or parts thereof, will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Promoter’s failure to enforce any term of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that term or any other provision of these Terms. Nectars’ failure to enforce any term of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.  

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate a participant, or accept any liability (whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential) for any loss, damage, personal injury or death arising out of or in connection with any Eligible Participants participation in the Promotion whether such liability arises from any claim based upon contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not the Promoter or its affiliates have been advised of the possibility of such loss, damage, personal injury or death. Your statutory rights are not affected. Any liability of the Promoter arising in connection with the Promotion shall be several, and the Promoter accepts no joint and several liability in connection with the Promotion. 

Promotional materials form part of these Terms. These Terms will prevail in the event of any conflict between these and the promotional materials.  

This Promotion shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, but not exclusively if the Eligible Participant is a resident of Scotland; then the courts of Scotland also have jurisdiction. 

Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in the administration of the Promotion shall be subject to correction without any liability on the Promoter or AGL. 

The Promoter’s decision regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and we will not enter into correspondence with Eligible Participants (or their representatives) about it.
