Grown on a maritime lagoon at the foothills of the Black Mountains, the vines that grow the grapes for the Sandpiper or 'little bird' enjoy maximum ripening before cool night time harvesting. Using a combination of grapes picked at optimal maturity, some old vine parcels, hand-harvesting and then winemaking techniques that allow the fruit to show its best in the final wine.
