What can you expect from this experience?
On this incredible trip, you will have the opportunity to fly with like-minded guests and explore both the historic city of San Sebastián along with the renowned wine producing region of Rioja, expertly guided along the way.
Day 1
We will meet at London City Airport for the start of the weekend adventure. Upon boarding our British Airways flight bound for San Sebastián, you will be greeted by our expert guides and treated to an exclusive in-flight experience.
After arriving in San Sebastián, guests will make their way to their chosen accommodation before regrouping for dinner, where gastronomy and wine will take centre stage.
Day 2
Guests will meet at the designated location in San Sebastián to start the trip in the breath-taking views of La Rioja.
The itinerary will take you on a journey to learn more about the history, style, geographical terroir and winemaking techniques of this famous region. Lunch will be served at the first winery, followed by an afternoon visit and dinner as we move on to the second wine producer.
Day 3
Guests can enjoy free time to relax and take in the seaside views or explore the charming old town of San Sebastián before making their way back to the airport. Our exclusive British Airways flight will be waiting to take us back home to London City.

Does the experience include insurance?
The experience will offer ATOL protection. Any additional insurance to be arranged separately by the participants.
Are there age restrictions to participate in the experience?
Participants must be 18 and over to be able to take part in The Wine Flyer Avios experience
What is the itinerary for the weekend?
Friday 16th May
09:00 AM: Meet at London City Airport to take our exclusive flight to San Sebastián
Afternoon spent at your own leisure in San Sebastián
7:00 PM: Welcome dinner
Saturday 17th May
8:00 AM: Guests to meet-up at agreed meeting point in San Sebastián (meeting point to be announced in 2025)
Travel to Rioja region for vineyards visit - transport is provided
Rest of the day spent visiting 2 vineyards where food and drinks will be provided
(Approximately) 9:00 PM Return to San Sebastián meeting point - transport is provided
Sunday 18th May
Morning spent at your own leisure
2:00 PM meeting at San Sebastián airport for departure on our flight back to London City Airport
Is transportation provided to the vineyard/airport?
Transportation will be provided from the meeting point in San Sebastián to the vineyard and back. All other transportation to be arranged separately by the participants.
Are meals included in the experience?
Welcome dinner on Friday 16th May and lunch and dinner on Saturday 17th May will be provided.
What should I wear for the vineyard tour?
Appropriate attire that allows you to fully enjoy the experience. We encourage the use of flat sole shoes due to significant amount of walking.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Bookings can be cancelled up to 60 days prior to take-off, for a full Avios refund. The cash value of £25 will be retained in the event of cancellation. Within 60 days of departure the experience is non-refundable.
